Cyber Security Awareness – Focus on IT and Network Security in accordance with 11.2.8.2 (LBA, BSI & BMV)

Cyber threats are among the most significant risks facing aviation today. This online Cyber Security Awareness training, in accordance with Chapter 11.2.8.2 of Regulation (EU) 2015/1998, is designed for administrators of critical information and communication technology systems (CICS) in aviation. It provides practical, hands-on knowledge to strengthen security in day-to-day operations.

Participants learn how IT- and network-specific security systems interact, how to respond appropriately in security-relevant situations, and how individual behavior contributes to protecting the entire organization. The training not only raises awareness of cyber risks, but also builds concrete operational confidence – fully aligned with the requirements of the German Federal Aviation Office (LBA), the Federal Office for Information Security (BSI) and the principles of the German Federal Ministry of Transport (BMV).
